Ancestral Rendezvous

Image
I was just coming down from another schizophrenic episode. I was praying for divine intervention, and we drove past a fast-food joint that had roughly a dozen cars in the parking lot. Not one person could be seen in the restaurant, nor the cars. I instantly knew something was off and I wasn't going to gamble with whatever was going on. No cars in the drive-through, and basically no sign of life, aside from a few lights inside the restaurant. How often do you see a fast-food place not jump at the opportunity to call the local tow just for one car left by itself?  It was late and we parked right off the highway in a deserted stretch. I take ten rips from a DMT vape, a couple caps of shrooms and a number of hits of funny flower. I sit back and next thing I know, I'm chasing astral dogs around the car while my partner at the time and myself are asleep inside the car. My ancestors were sitting in lawn chairs. My partner's spirit was not outside with us and I asked why. They said...

The Dark Night of The Soul

Image
The night began with routine sleep deprivation. I was fresh out of an intense spiritual retreat, and I did not know how to reintegrate back into society.  I was at my buddy's house and everyone else had passed out. Candles burned and incense lingered. I was looking across the street at the billboard as the lights on it flickered. Under the billboard I see shadows warping with the bracing. I don't know if this was just all in my mind, because I woke everyone up to look and none of them saw it... ...I was watching the shadows blend with reality, and I see a phantom playing an organ. His head decapitating itself to the beat of music I couldn't hear. For the first few minutes I just wrote it off as wishful thinking. I wanted to see something from the shadow realm, to know it was all real. I was skeptical. The phantom was standing and covered in black. I started getting scared after maybe 15 minutes. But it was like a trainwreck. I couldn't look away. At one point I remember...

Do You Cast Spells?

Image
That's the big question, and yes, I do. Healing, reversals and curses. Let's start with the latter since that's likely why you're reading this post, though I will not give instructions on how to direct these energies because it doesn't need to fall into the wrong hands.  When I was fresh out of my initiation, I was quick to curse. I think I was on my second or third one when I was able to confirm it worked. After that I began treating it like cocaine. Though today, if it's not for myself or family, I charge because if it backfires it's on me because I'm the one who cast it. I've had a few backfires cause spiritual chaos at home. My first one was accidental because I dropped it on the altar. It was devastating to the temple I was a part of. Everyone went in separate directions after it closed. Most people would look at the bills and say, "The temple was already struggling. Candles and incense don't actually do anything." But I left befor...

Superstition Mountain

Image
Rule #1: Don't look for the gold! Don't enter the area with that intention, because the spirits will have their way with you. Even if you don't have those thoughts, you still run a chance of the spirits making their presence known.  Roughly 600 people have been reported missing looking for the Lost Dutchman Gold Mine. Theres a couple stories of people making it there but getting lost in the tunnels and not making it back out.  It was a full moon. We turn onto the bottom of Apache Trail and head up the winding road. Our intention was to see if the land would show itself. There were two bridges that we passed over, and I don't remember what bridge it was but there was a torso floating maybe a foot above the road. No arms, no legs not even a head or neck. Just floating down the side of the road like it was a part of something bigger.  People have reported seeing a torso floating all through the mountain, sometimes being chased by its own legs. Even during the day. There ar...

What Brought Me Here

Image
I was born into the church. Baptized at an early age because I wanted to be popular. When I started having out of body experiences, people would shake their fingers my way. I was convinced I was evil for having these experiences. One pastor said I wasn't right with God. Everyone else started sitting a little further away on Sunday, and I was shamed with eyes. I saw a punk rocker with a lot of piercings get treated the same way. He had nobody. Very few would sit in the same pew as him. If I knew then what I know a lifetime later, I would go back and be his friend. I was convinced he was only seen for his body modifications. There was a lot of division between the rich and poor. As I grew up, my parents and I bounced around other churches. When I started driving, I was spending more time at punk shows instead of church. I've always felt more amongst my people at punk and metal shows than church. I was exposed to a lot of music, and some of the darker stuff really drew me in. I wa...

The First Time I Saw a Full Body Apparition

Image
I was up for two days on cheap acid. I was in the living room standing up just spacing the fuck out, watching the tv. I see something out of the corner of my eye, and I am in a trance as I see my aunt casually walking out of her old room. I follow her down the hall and next thing I know I'm standing in the backyard and she's nowhere to be seen, nowhere she could have gone. It takes about 4 seconds from the end of the hall to the backyard. And we lived in an old goldmine canyon, so a lot of the surrounding foliage had been wiped out decades ago. There was nothing bigger than oak or pine trees to hide behind and those were further away than the four seconds it took to reach the backyard. And there was no fence. I was in literal shock. I turn around and go back inside and my roommate said  "Dude, you look like you just saw a ghost."  I started trying to talk but it took a few seconds to speak. I told him what occurred and we didn't have much of a conversation about i...

The Ripple Effect

Image
If I toss a pebble into the pond, it's going to scare fish in the immediate area. Their expression spreads panic. Now the mosquitoes that were getting eaten by the scared fish are free of immediate danger. They will act accordingly and start their own ripple effect. The fish that swam from the pebble, are now rushing towards the back of the pond while a fisherman who hasn't caught anything all day suddenly lands a ten pounder. This fisherman is homeless and hasn't had a decent meal in far too long. His eyes well with joy, and that night he takes his catch back to camp and feeds everyone. He feels good inside and gets a good night's rest and wakes up with the rising sun.  But all I did was throw a pebble.
